Biography
I specialise in helping people who have suffered serious and life changing injuries, including brain injuries, spinal cord and serious orthopaedic injuries.
I endeavour to support my clients and those closest to them. This is from immediately after their accident, throughout their recovery period, and afterwards. I work to secure my clients the specialist rehabilitation and support they need at an early stage to maximise their independence and restore their quality of life.
What inspired you to get into law?
I chose a career in law because I wanted to be able to help solve problems. The area of law I specialise in involves a different approach in every case. Every client is different. Having the opportunity to learn about their background and circumstances, and then apply my knowledge to help them in the way that suits them best, is what motivates me.
What is the most rewarding aspect of your role?
The most rewarding part of my role is helping our clients. We have the opportunity to help make a difference in what is often one of the most difficult and stressful times of their lives.
What do you like about working at Irwin Mitchell?
Irwin Mitchell is made up of people with the experience, knowledge and desire to make a difference for their clients. This gives us a wide pool of experience which we can draw on to make sure we achieve the best results for our clients.
What do you do away from the office?
Away from the office, I enjoy reading, learning the guitar (badly) and weight training. I also enjoy watching rugby and snowboarding. Being originally from Cornwall, I love the sea and the beach and try to get back as much as possible.
