Dan Fielding

Dan advises borrowers and lenders in a wide range of finance transactions, including real estate finance, corporate finance, private equity and leveraged acquisition finance, interbank lending and asset-based lending.

Dan is also involved in the firm's India desk, primarily advising international lenders and corporate borrowers on cross-border transactions.

Dan's recent experience includes:

• Acting for a real-estate fund on the c£20m financing for the acquisition of a major retail site in Kent
  
• Advising the UK arm of a major Indian bank in relation to the re-financing of a portfolio of pubs and leisure sites
  
• Advising ThinCats on a c£11.5m facility in relation to the financing of three leveraged acquisitions 
• Advising NatWest on a c£20m facility for the refinancing of an international treasury services group's portfolio of loan notes and sponsor notes
  
• Acting for a real-estate developer in the refinancing of a major prime-London development by a mezzanine financer and subsequent senior refinancing
  
• Advising HSBC UK Bank Plc in relation to the financing of a sponsor-backed portfolio of nurseries and daycare centres in London
  
• Acting for a sponsor in the c£7m leveraged acquisition of a printing press group
• Advising Coutts on a c£16m facility to a sponsor-backed real-estate fund for the re-financing of a retail park
