Biography
I am Legal Director and Team Leader in the Serious Injury Department in Sheffield. I lead a team of dedicated serious injury specialists who deal with all types of personal injury cases, including road traffic accidents, injuries at work, slips and trips, military claims, and fatal accidents.
I joined Irwin Mitchell after completing my law degree in 2003 and have spent the majority of the time since then acting on behalf of seriously injured people.
I have particular expertise with complex orthopaedic injuries, fatal accidents, chronic pain and psychiatric harm, as well as with technical liability and procedural disputes. I provide a down-to-earth and empathetic service for my clients, always conscious that circumstances may be distressing, and the process is unfamiliar.
I am an accredited Association of Personal Injury Lawyers (APIL) Senior Litigator. I completed the Legal Practice Course at the University of Law in Manchester with a distinction, and was awarded the prize for the highest achieving student in the Personal Injury and Clinical Negligence module.

What Do You Do Away From The Office?
Outside of work, I am a passionate follower of both cricket and football and an occasional fan of just about any kind of sport! I am also a keen cinema goer and aspiring film buff. I grew up in the heart of the Peak District and so have always retained a love of the great outdoors.
