Chloe Moran
Biography
I am a solicitor in the Public Law & Human Rights team. I specialise in health and welfare matters in the Court of Protection, Serious Medical Treatment cases and community care cases. I joined Irwin Mitchell in 2023 as a trainee solicitor and qualified in 2025.
I act on behalf of vulnerable adults and their families in Court of Protection matters in relation to capacity, deprivation of liberty and best interests. I take cases representing the Official Solicitor, Independent Mental Capacity Advocates (IMCAs) and the families of vulnerable adults.
I also act on behalf family members and patients in respect of medical treatment where there is a dispute with the NHS Trust, including cases regarding the withdrawal of life sustaining treatment in both the Court of Protection and Family Court.
I also have experience in judicial review cases, regularly challenging decisions made by public bodies including local authorities, clinical commissioning groups and NHS Trusts.
