Biography
I'm a Senior Associate Solicitor with the Family Team in Birmingham. I have over 8 years experience in advising clients in relation to all areas of family law. I specialise in dealing with complex financial matters on following the breakdown of a relationship. I also advise in respect of Pre and Post-Nuptial Agreements, Cohabitation Agreements and children disputes.
What inspired you to get into law?
After finishing my GCSEs, I went on to full-time dance college with a planned career in the arts. Given that I had always been academic, I also studied for my A Levels in the evening, just in case! I had always been interested in law, but had never really experienced it until A Level and I enjoyed it so much, I decided to study law at university. From here I gained a passion for family law through various work placements and a desire to help people, which led me to where I am today!
What is the most rewarding aspect of your role?
Family law is the perfect mix of technical expertise, practical application and a personable approach. I really enjoy being able to focus on strategy to get the best outcome for each and every client, while being able to help in what is often one of the most difficult times most people will face.

What do you do away from the office?
I have 2 little boys who keep me very busy when I am not working!
