Biography
I am currently a Trainee Financial Services Coordinator providing support predominately to the South admin team with tasks such as preparing annual review reports, helping with client enquiries, and distributing review invitation comms to our clients. Day to day I am learning more about regulations and compliance within the financial services industry. I am also looking to do the LP2 exam which would further my career to one day becoming a financial adviser.
What inspired you to get into financial services?
I would say one of the reasons I got into financial services was because of my brother. He went down this route straight after school and has since completed his ROs so is one step closer to becoming a financial adviser. This inspired me as I have seen what his hard work has achieved as well as seeing the rewards it has brought him.
What is the most rewarding aspect of your role?
The most rewarding aspect of my role is learning and helping the team in any way I can. Learning everyday as a new person within the industry is absolutely vital to my career and helping me get to where I want to be. I feel there is no better place to do it then IM Asset Management.
What do you do away from the office?
I enjoy watching football, I have a season ticket at Sheffield Wednesday where I try to get to every game I can. I also enjoy music festivals. I think having a good weekend with your friends is good for downtime and listening to good music.
