Callum Eyre

Paralegal

Biography

I work as a Paralegal within the Serious Injury CICA team in Leeds. I support clients who have experienced physical and/or psychological harm arising from violent crimes, including incidents of terrorism, human trafficking, and serious sexual assaults.

What do you like about working at Irwin Mitchell?

At Irwin Mitchell, I’m surrounded by a team with outstanding knowledge and extensive experience, and I benefit from their expertise every day. It’s a pleasure to work with people who are truly committed to securing the best results for our clients.

What is the most rewarding aspect of your role?

Because our clients have suffered severe and often life‑changing injuries, securing a successful result is especially meaningful. It gives them access to vital compensation, helping them rebuild their lives and look toward a more hopeful future.

What inspired you to get into law?

My interest in law began during my A Level studies. At that time, I had hoped to pursue a career in the police, but my undergraduate studies revealed a deeper enthusiasm for the legal profession.

I completed a degree in Law with Criminology at Sheffield Hallam University, and in 2022, I completed my Legal Practice Course at BPP University. I am currently completing the necessary qualifications to become a Chartered Legal Executive.

What do you do away from the office?

I like to spend time with my friends and family outside of work. I am an avid traveller having been to many interesting cities all over Europe and more recently I have been backpacking in Asia.
