I am a paralegal in the Serious Injury Team in Sheffield. I started my career at Irwin Mitchell as an office administrator in the Work Place Disease Department in 2017. I became a paralegal in May 2018.
I mainly assist Glen Whitehead with cases which involve clients with very severe traumatic brain injuries.
What inspired you to get into law?
I've always been fascinated with the law that governs us and from a young age, knew that I wanted to succeed in a career in law. I studied law at A-Level and proceeded to study Law at University. I am currently completing the CILEX Graduate Fast-Track Diploma in Legal Practice.
What is the most rewarding aspect of your role?
The most rewarding aspect of my role is being able to secure and implement rehabilitation from an early stage and secure sufficient funds for the client.
What do you like about working at Irwin Mitchell?
I particularly enjoy working with my colleagues who have both great experience and knowledge within this area. Irwin Mitchell is an all-encompassing firm and I find that no matter what query our clients have, there is always someone that can help.
What do you do away from the office?
I enjoy spending time socialising with friends and family. I enjoy long walks and reading a good book!
