Biography

I started my legal career in 2016, having graduated from Northumbria University with a First Class Law degree. From the outset I have worked in the Personal Injury sector, representing individuals who have been injured or mistreated.

I qualified as a Solicitor in 2022 and have specialised in the field of asbestos related disease claims since then.

I am part of Irwin Mitchell’s Workplace Injury Team, based in Newcastle upon Tyne. I represent clients who have developed a range of illnesses including asbestos related lung cancer, asbestosis, and pleural thickening. I also assist on complex mesothelioma claims.

What do you like about working at Irwin Mitchell?

I enjoy being part of a supportive team, where we can share ideas and experiences. Everyone is valued and everyone has a voice.

What inspired you to get into law?

I studied Law as part of my A-levels and it was from then that I was set on pursuing a legal career.

I have strong sense of justice and desire to help people. I enjoy taking on challenges and standing up for those who were injured through no fault of their own.

What do you do away from the office?

I enjoy going to the gym and hiking in the Lake District. I am trying to complete the 214 Wainwright walks. I have managed to complete 107 so far.

I also enjoy travelling, paddleboarding and skiing.
