What inspired you to get into law?
My passion for law began when I was visiting my uncle in New York who is an Attorney. Whilst visiting him I attended Family Court in Manhattan to watch various types of hearings, as well as trials. Watching the proceedings revealed to me just how significant the Lawyer’s role is in these delicate situations. Upon observing these hearings and trials, I knew I wanted to become a solicitor.
What is the most rewarding aspect of your role?
I work on a wide array of cases, each posing an opportunity to bring unprecedented results and the ability to have an impact on the law. The inherent nature of my role represents opportunities and challenges that makes my work satisfying.
What do you do away from the office?
I love spending the majority of my free time with my little girl. Motherhood is absolutely wonderful. I love it and I think it is fair to say that it is the most fulfilling role I have ever had or will ever have.
I love travelling as it expands my perspective on life and opens one’s mind to realise that there is not one way to live one’s life. Through travel I have been exposed to new places, people and cultures. The fun starts the minute I enter duty free on my way out to my new destination.
I also enjoy opera, ballet, theatre, movies and socialising with my friends and family.
Client testimonial
"The divorce communication which has been across a number of years, is always quick, easy to understand and helpful. Advice is sound and broad, offering a range of suggestions and solutions. I never felt pressured to act or decide, or that I couldn't ask for more help in understanding specifics." - 5* Trustpilot review
“She performed brilliantly and adapted to my personality, after an accident like I had it is sometimes difficult for me to understand, concentrate or sink it all in and Bal has been so ever supportive and comprehensive on this matter.”
