I am a solicitor in the Family department in Sheffield. I've specialised in family law since I qualified 1997 and I deal with all aspects of it, such as pre- and post-marital agreements for married couples, and living together and separation agreements for couples who aren’t married. I deal with all matters than can arise because of a separation, such as divorce and financial settlements.
I have a particular interest in cases involving children, for example who a child lives with or spends time with. I deal with complex children cases, including cases where children are separately represented, and cases which have an international element. I also represent other family members such as grandparents and have experience of cases involving same sex couples. Between 2003 and 2015 I worked in Australia as a family solicitor, which has given me vast experience of family law matters.
My aim is to to guide clients through what can be a stressful time with empathy and understanding. I seek to achieve the best result possible for them and to ensure their case is dealt with in the most efficient and affordable way possible.
