Biography
I am a Legal Director within the Commercial Dispute Resolution team, with over 14 years’ experience in litigation and dispute resolution.
I have represented clients in a broad range of matters, including corporate and commercial disputes, shareholders and partnership disputes, breaches of directors’ duties, banking and finance litigation, insolvency, professional negligence, cross-border disputes, dry shipping cargo disputes, international trade, and civil fraud.
Prior to joining IM, I led litigation teams in numerous complex and high-value cases, gaining extensive experience in managing challenging and rewarding disputes. I was called to the Bar in 2005 and have spent the past 20 years working in boutique law firms across Central London. I cross-qualified as a solicitor in 2011 and completed my Higher Rights of Audience qualifications (Civil and Criminal) in 2013, which were officially awarded in March 2014.
As part of my practice, I have appeared before County Courts, the High Court, and various Tribunals across the UK.
Fluent in French and Mauritian Creole, and conversational in Hindi and Urdu, I bring a global and culturally nuanced perspective to my legal work, particularly in international and cross-border disputes.
