Biography
I am an experienced Paralegal working in the Court of Protection department based in Manchester. We specialise is managing finances for clients who lack the mental capacity to manage their own affairs whether through illness or injury.
Our clients come from a wide variety of backgrounds and personal circumstances and all clients are handled in a professional and empathetic way.
As a paralegal I am the first point of contact for day to day matters on my files and as such am privileged to build up continuous long-standing relationships with them and their families.
To ensure the best possible client service I work with a variety of professionals including Case Managers, Financial Advisors and Litigation specialists.
I'm a part of the Paralegal Onboarding team, in which I provide training to newly joined Court of Protection paralegals across the country.

What is the most rewarding aspect of your role?
The most rewarding aspect of the role is getting to know the clients and their families and knowing that we are helping them navigate difficult times in their lives. Getting to celebrate those milestones with our clients and developing long standing relationships with them.
What inspired you to get into law?
I admittedly fell into the profession but it soon became obvious that this was the right area for me. I find the job challenging, rewarding and feel very grateful to be able to play a role in helping our clients and families.
What do you do away from the office?
When not working I can be found spending time with my family and walking my two dogs in the local countryside.
