Biography
I am a Solicitor in the medical negligence team in London, having joined in 2025 after qualifying as a solicitor in 2023. I have over two years of experience specialising in medical negligence cases.
My caseload includes claims relating to the delayed diagnosis of cancer, stroke, and other serious medical conditions, as well as negligent surgical procedures and fatal claims.
I also assist senior members of the team on complex matters involving birth injury, brain injury and wrongful birth claims.
I have an interest in patient safety and in men's health matters. My main priority however is ensuring that all claimants are properly supported and fairly compensated under the current law.
What do you like about working at Irwin Mitchell?
One of the things that I enjoy about working at Irwin Mitchell is the collaboration- both within teams but also across departments. Being a large national firm, we are able to offer our clients comprehensive support across a wide range of legal areas.
The team in London is made up of many leading individuals in the medical negligence practice area, all of whom are committed to achieving the best outcomes for clients, even in complex or contested cases.
Finally, there is a strong focus on wellbeing and work-life balance. We also have strong relationships with many charities, which provides great opportunities for volunteering.
What is the most rewarding aspect of your role?
Making a tangible difference to the lives of my clients, who have suffered injury through no fault of their own, is the main driving force behind why I do what I do.
I’m also interested in how we can collectively improve accountability, internal processes, and working practices within healthcare. Representing claimants provides a valuable perspective and an opportunity to contribute to change- at least to the extent that the legal process allows.
What do you do away from the office?
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my friends and family. I also enjoy weekend day trips to national parks, cooking, and outdoor activities such as hiking. I am also an Arsenal fan- being a lawyer is often less stressful.
