Biography
I'm a Physiotherapist by background and joined Irwin Mitchell in 2022 after working for a commercial insurer leading their Rehabilitation team. The Support and Rehabilitation team at Irwin Mitchell is really unique and the service supports clients and their families at times of great need and I wanted to be part of this award winning team and a company that puts the client at the heart of everything they do.
What do you like about working at Irwin Mitchell?
They are a great employer but for me it's the fact the culture focuses on the client. Practically this means everyone is approachable and is striving for the same thing so it really does feel everyone is working together.
What is the most rewarding aspect of your role?
The fact that every day the team are supporting clients at often the time of their greatest need. It's so rewarding to see how and where we can help clients and their families and the results.
Any innovations or change that can help the team support more clients in more ways really energises and motivates me.
What inspired you to get into law?
I always knew I wanted to help people and was always interested in biology and the human body. I could have studied medicine but my brother suffered from a orthopaedic childhood disease and seeing how a team of multi-disciplinary health care professionals supported him to maximise his recovery and quality of life cemented what I wanted to do from a young age.
What do you do away from the office?
I love the outdoors and being closer to nature. This can take the form of walking the dog, kayaking, cycling or gardening.
