Anthe Korelidou

I am an associate solicitor at Irwin Mitchell’s London office, specialising exclusively in personal injury law. My practice centres on complex, catastrophic, and fatal accident claims, with a particular emphasis on aviation litigation. I'm a member of the firm’s International Serious Injury team, which handles multi-jurisdictional claims involving aviation, travel, and medical negligence abroad, as well as cases involving foreign nationals injured in the UK.

I maintain a principal focus on aviation incidents claims and have represented passengers, pilots, and their families in a wide range of personal injury cases arising from aviation accidents. I have supported victims and their families through accident investigations and coroner’s inquests, providing clear and compassionate guidance throughout.

My work includes pursuing claims against airlines, airports, and ground handling agents, and I regularly deal with both domestic and international matters under international conventions, EU law, and UK law. I am recognised for the clarity of my advice and my client-focused approach. Specialising in personal injury law offers a unique opportunity to make a meaningful difference in people’s lives. I find purpose in helping clients access the rehabilitation they need and reach settlements that provide closure and a path forward. What inspired you to get into law?

My passion for law was sparked early on through my involvement in voluntary projects that focused on helping people rebuild their lives. This experience inspired me to pursue a career that would be both intellectually stimulating and personally meaningful. I'm particularly drawn to the intricacies of litigation and the emotional depth it carries, especially when supporting clients through some of the most challenging moments of their lives.

What do you do away from the office?

I am a mum to two lively boys who keep me wonderfully busy and constantly entertained. I love re-discovering life through their eyes and spending time outdoors, travelling, and taking far too many photos along the way (most of which end up in my phone’s “one day I will organise this” folder).

When I’m not exploring new places or chasing my boys around, you will find me meditating, doing yoga, or walking with a good cup of coffee in hand, wandering through London’s parks and hidden corners; I am often planning and organising events at the same time, as I find real joy in connecting with people and creating lasting memories.
