Karen Jeary Adds Further Strength to Family Team Across the South Coast

Leading national law firm Irwin Mitchell has strengthened its family law team across the UK’s south coast with the appointment of senior lawyer, Karen Jeary.

Joining as Legal Director, Karen advises on all areas of family law including divorce and complex financial matters, often involving high and medium net worth assets, complex company structures and Trusts. 

She is experienced in pre /post nuptial and cohabitation agreements, and in cases involving disclosure issues and vulnerable clients. Karen also has a strong focus on domestic and international child relocation.

Karen, who moves from Mayo Wynne Baxter where she was partner, is a qualified collaborative lawyer, a member of Resolution, and a Legal 500 ‘Recommended Lawyer’.

Commenting on her new role, Karen Jeary said:

Karen’s arrival comes just three months after the appointment of new senior associate in last Rory Laide. Based also in the Brighton office, Rory’s expertise spans divorce, separation, financial settlements, pre and post nuptial agreements, children's law, and international family law, particularly cross border matters between England and Ireland as well as expatriates in the Gulf region.
