National Team Retains Top Tier Position Across the UK Market

Irwin Mitchell has retained its position among the UK’s top five firms for restructuring and insolvency matters in the High Court’s Insolvency and Companies List, according to Solomonic’s Year in Review 2025. The report places Irwin Mitchell fifth by new claim volume, with 168 new matters issued during 2025. 

The recognition comes against a backdrop of another exceptionally busy year for insolvency activity. Solomonic reports a record 14,533 total applications to the Insolvency and Companies List in 2025 (up 8.5% year-on-year), including 8,208 winding up petitions (up 12%).
