Yousafa Hazara Named One of Eprivateclient’s 2025 NextGen Leaders

The leading online news platform, eprivateclient, first recognised Yousafa in 2024. Since then, she has been promoted to Legal Director, named a “Leading Associate” in The Legal 500, and appointed Business Development Co-Lead for Irwin Mitchell’s International Private Client team.

She is known for her deep expertise in complex cross-border tax and estate planning, advising high-net-worth individuals and international families on structuring their wealth across multiple jurisdictions. A significant part of her practice focuses on the Middle East, where she works closely with clients connected to the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, and other Gulf countries. Her work includes:

• Drafting bespoke Wills for UK and international clients with Middle Eastern assets and family connections
• Advising on the application of Sharia succession principles, including for non-Muslim clients operating in or with ties to the region
• Navigating UK tax implications for clients with offshore structures and international estates
• Safeguarding wealth against risks such as forced heirship, matrimonial claims, and creditor exposure

Yousafa is a member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP) and holds the STEP Advanced Certificate in UK Tax for International Clients.
