Irwin Mitchell's London Corporate Team Advise On Insurance Sector Deal

The London Corporate team at Irwin Mitchell has advised specialist insurance broker, Fleet and Commercial, on its sale to Specialist Risk Group (SRG).

Founded in 2011 and based in Oxfordshire, Fleet and Commercial supports a range of different businesses including tradespeople, SMEs and large corporates.

Fleet and Commercial will now form part of London-headquartered SRG’s growing retail division, Specialist Risk Insurance Solutions (SRIS), which is led by Oliver Thorne who was announced as its managing director last October.

Tony McLeman and Tom West from Fleet and Commercial will continue to lead the business to deliver an ambitious organic and strategic growth plan over the coming years.

Debbie Serota, Corporate partner at Irwin Mitchell, along with colleagues Ben Gale (Senior Associate), Christian Vale (Associate) and Deirbhile Lynam (Solicitor) advised on the transaction.
