I'm an Associate Solicitor on the international Personal Injury team. I specialise in complex and high value head and spinal injury claims, fatal claims and serious injury claims. I have particular experience in cases with complex liability issues and claims involving multiple parties.
I act for people who’ve suffered injuries abroad including accidents at work, road traffic accidents, package holiday cases and medical negligence.
Noteworthy claims I’ve dealt with include two successful Court of Appeal cases:
- Swift & Others v Fred Olsen EWCA Civ 785
- Wood v TUI Travel plc t/a First Choice EWCA Civ 11.
“With only a six week window Simon O’Loughlin took over my case and prepared it for a County Court Liability Hearing . . . He did all this with effortless professionalism, a sense of humour and a no-nonsense approach which inspired me with confidence . . . I have no hesitation in recommending Simon’s specialised legal representation for all who suffer personal injury abroad together with the marvellous Irwin Mitchell Team.” – Andrew, client
“I received experienced and diligent representation resulting in a favourable resolution to my [personal injury] case. I certainly would refer this law firm and specifically Simon O’Loughlin to others seeking legal representation.” – Bradley, former client
