I represent both adults and children who have sustained life-changing injuries. This includes those who may have sustained brain injury, multiple fractures, or spinal cord injury.
I also represent family members who have lost loved ones as a result of fatal accidents. At a time which can present the most unexpected and difficult challenges in life, I do my very best to offer support through recovery and rehabilitation and ultimately to ensure financial security for the future.
I'm also a chartered physiotherapist and have always had a drive to help people who have suffered injury. I was inspired to get into law by a former colleague here at Irwin Mitchell, who was also a physiotherapist.
I could see that the combination of my rehabilitation knowledge and experience together with technical legal expertise places me in an excellent position to provide the very best service for those who have sustained serious injuries.
Noone expects to suffer an injury or loss which turns their world upside down. Working with my clients and their family and being able to help them through those difficult times is incredibly rewarding.
It can be challenging but knowing that my clients receive the best possible rehabilitation and the essential support they require makes every minute worthwhile.
We encourage a positive, proactive and collaborative work environment. We have a tremendous amount of skill and experience in our team and work together to provide a truly bespoke and client-centred approach.
This gives me confidence that I can provide and maintain a high technical standard whilst maintaining a very personal service.
I've lived in Sheffield for the majority of my life and I take every opportunity to enjoy the Peak District, whether that be by foot or cycle. I’m a rugby fan and have also been known to attend the occasional Formula 1 Grand Prix.
Looking further afield, I've always enjoyed stepping off the beaten track and have visited some of the more hidden corners of the world.
“The last 12 months have been an incredibly raw and emotional time for Janine and her family and shows how a lapse in concentration from the driver has left them facing a lifetime of hurt and pain.
“Road Safety Week is an important time to reflect on the responsibility that all of us have to keep ourselves and others safe from harm on the road.
“We fully support the campaign and join Janine in asking motorists to be aware of other road users at all times to help reduce the number of serious accidents involving motorcyclists and cyclists.”
“The last few months have been an incredibly difficult time for Clive’s family as they have tried to come terms with his death which occurred in such unexpected and terrible circumstances.
“Through our work we often see the consequences of what can happen when vulnerable road users, such as motorcyclists, are involved in collisions.
“While nothing can make up for the loss of Clive, Janine and the rest of the family hope that his death can act as a warning to motorists of the devastation they can cause families through a lapse in concentration. It is vital drivers pay attention and show consideration to fellow road users at all times.”
