Expert Lawyers Instructed To Investigate Care At Staffordshire Hospital
An inquest to investigate the circumstances surrounding the death of a father-of-three who died of multi-organ failure after gastric bypass surgery at University Hospital of North Staffordshire, now the Royal Stoke University Hospital, is scheduled to start on 30th March 2016.
Nadim Butt, from Stafford, Staffordshire, died after undergoing weight-loss surgery at the Staffordshire hospital in September 2014. Shortly after the surgery his condition began to rapidly deteriorate and he died five days later.
The inquest into Nadim’s death is scheduled to take place at Stoke On Trent Coroner’s Court with HM Coroner (Mr I Smith), Nadim’s family, including wife Shamila, Mother Rehana, Sister Diba and Nadim’s three children will be attending the hearing.
