Law Firm Research To Reveal Key Priorities Ahead Of Pre-Election Announcement
Leading national law firm Irwin Mitchell has launched a survey to understand what SME business leaders want from the Budget on 18 March.
The Chancellor’s update on the economy will come just weeks before Parliament breaks up ahead of campaigning for the General Election on the 7 May.
The survey provides businesses leaders with a range of options including an increase in infrastructure investment, a crackdown on tax avoidance and tighter laws on late payments, and asks which is their number one priority.
Fergal Dowling, Partner at Irwin Mitchell said:
Expert Opinion
This will be a key announcement and many businesses will be listening closely to what the Chancellor is planning to deliver for businesses, as well as how the opposition parties respond. Despite the economy being in better shape since the last General Election, many business leaders are keen to know from the political parties what they plan to do in order to support the development and growth of their organisation.” Fergal Dowling - Partner & Director of Legal Services (Commercial Advisory & Disputes)
