Pensioners Family Seek Answers At Inquest
An inquest investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of lady at Salford Royal Hospital is scheduled to start on Monday 28th October and is listed for three days.
Doris Adams, 75, was taken to Salford Royal Hospital on September 2nd after being found injured inside the entrance at the residential accommodation where she lived in St John’ Court in Salford.
After arriving at the hospital, Mrs Adams was treated for a broken hip and she died several days later on 14 September.
Lawyers from Irwin Mitchell are representing the pensioner’s family at the hearing taking place at Bolton Coroners Court which begins on Monday 28th October.
Legal expert, Sophie Davies from Irwin Mitchell, said: “Like any family loss, it is always a difficult time for loved ones. In this particular case, Mrs Adams’s son, Keith, has several questions he would like answering before he can begin to move on from losing his mother.
“We hope that the inquest will provide these answers to help the family come to terms with their loss.”
