Law Firm Joins Forces With Andy Hanselman Consulting
The Sheffield office of national law firm, Irwin Mitchell, has joined forces with consultancy practice Andy Hanselman Consulting to host a follow-up event for budding entrepreneurs which aims to build on the success of the city’s recent MADE Festival.
Entitled ‘Generation Sheffield’, the free event on Tuesday 9th October at Irwin Mitchell’s offices on Riverside, has been designed to give attendees practical advice from local entrepreneurs in relation to starting a business, building a team at a young age, growing sales, tackling export markets and raising finance.
The panel includes Nathan Bestwick, founder of Yormii, Ruth Amos, the inventor of the Stairsteady, Lewis Bowen, Managing Director of Geco Industries, and Jessica Flinn, creator of Jessica Flynn Designs.
Paul Firth, Regional Managing Partner at Irwin Mitchell in Sheffield, an event sponsor of MADE, said: “MADE was another huge success this year, but it’s important that we capture the enthusiasm generated and ensure the momentum is maintained. The festival revealed the strength of the entrepreneurial spirit and culture that exists across South Yorkshire and it is crucial that we continue to inspire the next generation.”
Jill White from Andy Hanselman Consulting, added: “This is an opportunity for all young entrepreneurs, existing and aspiring, to share their experiences, contribute their ideas and create a voice. It’s a chance for attendees to be part of a voice for change in order to really make a difference to our local economy by inspiring and encouraging other budding young start-ups.”
The event, which includes an opportunity for networking, starts at 5.30pm and finishes at 9pm. Please email Jill White jill@andyhanselman.com asap for further information and to reserve a place.
