A 25-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving shortly after the collision. He was later released on police bail, pending further inquiries.
A Warwickshire Police spokesman said: "The collision involved a white Citroen Berlingo van driven by a 25-year-old male and two children who were not in the vehicle.
"One of the children, a five-year-old girl, suffered fatal injuries. The other, a seven-year-old girl, was taken to the George Eliot Hospital with leg injuries and was released after treatment."
