Biography
I am an Associate Solicitor in the Serious Injury team, based in our Birmingham office.
I represent people (both adults and children) who have suffered a serious injury ranging from a brain injury to multiple orthopaedic fractures.
What Inspired You To Get Into Law?
At the age of 16 I did some work experience for a newspaper and they sent me to a criminal trial. I realised I was more interested in the legal proceedings than the journalism!
What Is The Most Rewarding Aspect Of Your Role?
Making a difference. It can mean getting an early interim payment for someone who isn't working and is worried about how to pay the mortgage, right through to helping a client purchase and adapt a property which is made suitable for their needs.
What Do You Like About Working At Irwin Mitchell?
Although we are a big firm we are very personable. We have a range of departments which usually means that we can meet all of a client's legal needs.
What Do You Do Away From The Office?
I love cooking for my husband, friends and family. I am also a bit of a gym enthusiast but that is really only so I can eat what I want!
