National Law Firm Raises £163,000 For Charities Across The UK
Leading national law firm Irwin Mitchell has revealed its delight after its regional offices last year raised a record total of £163,000 for 14 charities based across the UK.
Staff in each of the law firm’s offices voted for a third sector organisation to become their Charity of the Year for 2016, as part of a nationwide initiative developed by the Irwin Mitchell Charities Foundation.
Established in 1997, IMCF is an independent registered charity set up by the firm which has donated more than £1.5 million to third sector organisations.
Following 12 months of fundraising activities including dress down days, bake sales and a host of special events, it has been confirmed that the law firm raised a record £163,000 with the majority of the firm’s regional offices smashing their own fundraising records in the process.
Organisations such as Support Dogs, FareShare and Molly Olly’s Wishes are among those which are set to receive donations.
Adrian Budgen, Partner and Head of the Irwin Mitchell Charities Foundation at Irwin Mitchell, says:
