The Leeds office of national law firm Irwin Mitchell and Kings Chambers joined forces to host a Bollywood evening at the West Yorkshire Playhouse to raise money for the Child Brain Injury Trust.

The Child Brain Injury Trust supports children, young people and their families and helps them come to terms with life changing injuries and the uncertainty that their future now brings.

The evening event featured a new musical that retells the greatest love story from the east, Laila Manju, a contemporary musical developed by the creators of Britain’s Got Bhangra.

Carolyn Heaton, an expert serious injury lawyer at Irwin Mitchell’s Leeds office, said:

Expert Opinion
“The event at the West Yorkshire Playhouse was a fantastic experience and we were delighted to host it and help raise money to allow the Trust to continue the fantastic work it does in our area.

“Through our work we understand just how much of an impact brain injuries can have on young people, as well as their families, and the challenges they now have to face every day when dealing with the impact of a brain injury.

“A significant number of our clients have used and still use the services which The Child Brain Injury Trust provide and we are delighted to have raised more than £2,000 on the night, which will go some way to helping the charity to continue its work in our area.”
