National law firm Irwin Mitchell is proud to announce its expansion of their Paralegal Apprenticeship Programme, offering talented people across the UK an opportunity to begin their legal careers.

The scheme, developed in association with CILEx Law School, , is a chance for those entering the jobs market to join one of the UK’s most successful and respected law firms where they can develop a fulfilling career in a legal environment.

Participants joining the programme will gain first-hand experience working within legal teams, helping to deliver excellent customer service to clients, whilst studying for the CILEx NVQ Level 3 Paralegal Apprenticeship.

Expert Opinion
“We’re delighted to be working with CILEx Law school on our Paralegal Apprenticeship programme. We see quality apprenticeships as a key part of our talent strategy – allowing us to invest in staff and promote from within.

“The reality of the modern legal world is that, whilst there will always be highly skilled solicitors and partners within legal practice, we are employing more paralegals and this route provides young people with an opportunity to develop a career in law.

“Ten apprentices will be joining the firm in September in our Birmingham, Leeds, London and Sheffield offices and we hope to extend this further in future years, following the success of schemes in Gatwick.”
