Events Designed To Ensure Businesses Are Prepared For The Year Ahead
As part of a national training programme, leading law firm Irwin Mitchell will host two seminars in Yorkshire next month aimed at ensuring businesses are fully prepared for the latest changes to employment law.
The national firm together with fast growing Yorkshire-based talent solutions group, Elevation Recruitment will hold the events on 4th March in Sheffield and on 6th March in Leeds to update businesses on the main employment law changes that have been introduced in the previous 12 months.
There will also be a look ahead to the key challenges and issues in the future including an analysis of what the impact of the General Election could be on employment legislation.
Topics to be discussed include shared parental leave along with other family friendly employment rights, the latest developments with holiday pay and a round-up of case law and how it affects business. There will also be the opportunity for attendees to share views, ask questions and to network with other HR professionals and business leaders.
Glenn Hayes, Employment partner at Irwin Mitchell said:
Expert Opinion
It has been another busy 12 months in terms of changes to employment law and there is plenty coming up that businesses need to be aware of. There is further uncertainty with a General Election just around the corner, so we will also use the session to highlight the pledges that each main political party has made so far in terms of employment law and highlight what this could mean for the future.” Glenn Hayes - Partner & National Head of Employment Law
