Many Questions To Answer After Two Soldiers Die During Heatwave

The Ministry of Defence (MoD) is working with Dyfed-Powys Police as it continues to investigate the deaths of two soldiers believed to be with the Territorial Army who died during a training exercise on the Brecon Beacons on Saturday (July 15th).
A third soldier is also reportedly in a serious condition following the problems in Powys, with investigations considering the weather and also the nature of the exercise that the personnel were undertaking.
The servicemen’s next of kin have been informed, but the MoD is refusing to comment on reports that the exercise was related to SAS selection.

“In order to gain a full picture of the circumstances surrounding this accident, it will be vital that all aspects of the incident are considered – including the exercise at hand and the conditions it was being undertaken in.”
