Hotel illness announcements
Reports of an outbreak of illness have come to our attention for guests who stayed at the Gardenia Plaza Resort in Sharm El Sheikh, Egypt in May/June 2008.
It is understood that a large number of holidaymakers were struck down by symptoms of gastric illness during their stay at the above hotel.
Complaints are alleged to include food being undercooked and at the incorrect temperature along with new food being added to old. It is alleged that the standards of hygiene maintained by the hotel were poor and that the hotel was in a state of poor repair and maintenance.
It is thought that some guests have required medical treatment following their symptoms which are possibly due to food/water at the hotel.
Irwin Mitchell invites anyone affected by illness at this hotel or from any hotels in the Sharm El Sheikh area of Egypt to contact them.
