Loose Van Load
The man who was killed when a load fell from a van and smashed through the windscreen of a car on the A508 has been named.
William Inns, 26, of Culworth Crescent, Sunnyside, Northampton, was a passenger in the Alfa Romeo on the road between Pitsford and Boughton.
The road was closed in both directions after the accident, and all three emergency services, including the Warwickshire and Northamptonshire Air Ambulance, attended.

David Urpeth from law firm Irwin Mitchell said: "This was a terrible road traffic accident in which an innocent passenger has been killed.
"Drivers have a legal duty to ensure any loads they carry on their vehicle are secured so that they cannot fall and cause injury to any other road user or pedestrians.
"Whilst some may think this accident was a freak occurrence, this is not the case. I have seen numerous instances where unsafe loads have caused injury or death in road traffic accidents.
"I regularly represent people who have been injured or killed in road crashes."
