RAF veteran Harry Hargreaves, was in collision with a car while crossing a busy intersection, he suffered serious head injuries and leg fractures.

Mr Hargreaves was taken to the nearby Peel Health Campus, but died later while being transferred to the Royal Perth Hospital, West Australian State Police said.

Mr Hargreaves had flown to Australia just before Christmas, looking forward to catching up with his family.
