Irwin Mitchell have successfully claimed £2,250 plus the payment of legal costs for a woman who tripped in a pot hole whilst in a car park.
Our client was walking through the car park after stepping out of her car, when she tripped in a pot hole and fell on her left side. She grazed her hand and knees and experienced some lower back pain.
A medical report was obtained, which confirmed our client’s injuries and she was recommended an extensive rehabilitation program including a variety of medication and physiotherapy, which was unfortunately unsuccessful.
A claim was made against the defendant on the 17th of October 2011 and a settlement of £2,250 plus payment of legal costs was agreed on the 7th of November 2012.
