We were instructed by Miss Shelly Wright in relation to a claim for damages for personal injury and losses incurred as a result of a road traffic accident on 10 November 2008.
The circumstances of the accident are that our client had just gotten into a taxi at Peterborough Railway Station. She was in the process of putting on her seatbelt as the taxi pulled away. The third party reversed out of a parking space colliding with the passenger side of our client's vehicle.
As her seatbelt was not properly secured at the time of the accident she was thrown forward out of her seat. As a result of the accident she sustained a suspected fractured right collarbone.
She was 5 months pregnant at the time of the accident so x-rays were not taken. She received treatment on the basis of the above injury. Liability was admitted and our client received £4,000 in compensation.
