When serving personnel suffer an injury, there are a number of different solutions in place to provide soldiers with the medical care, rehabilitation and support they need to recover from their injuries. Sometimes these injuries can be very serious, resulting in longer recovery periods which can also seriously affect their ability to return to civilian life.
This free one-day conference examines the impact a serious injury can have on the life of former serving personal, five years post discharge. Key issues regarding the challenges soldiers face and the support networks available to them are also discussed by panel of expert speakers.
