London law firm Irwin Mitchell played host to a spectacular party and theatre performance at its Holborn office for a number of children with disabilities, their carers, family members and local charities.

A face painter and balloon modeller were on hand to provide entertainment, before a Blunderbus performance of the hilarious Duck in the Truck on 8 February.

Blunderbus is a professional children's theatre company based in Nottinghamshire which travels around the country creating theatre for children aged between three and seven, playing to around 200,000 children every year at a variety of venues.

Actors brought the book Duck in the Truck, written by Jez Alborough, to life, with live music, costumes and high-energy storytelling.

Expert Opinion
In our daily work we do so much to help our clients access rehabilitation and treatment services to get their lives back on track. A large part of this process is doing the normal everyday things we often take for granted, such as going to the theatre.

“To bring the theatre to them at our office was a great way of entertaining the children and it was fantastic to see them with a smile on their faces, laughing out loud and singing along with the songs.

“It was an absolute pleasure to transform our boardrooms into a magical theatre for this event and to see the uplifting story inspire everyone who came along.”
