Travel law experts at Irwin Mitchell have expressed concern after hearing reports that holidaymakers are returning from their stay at the four-star Lindos Princess Beach Hotel in Greece with gastric illness.

Irwin Mitchell’s specialist international travel law team, which has successfully represented thousands of people who have suffered serious illness at holiday resorts and on cruise ships across the globe, are aware of reports indicating that holidaymakers are returning from their holiday suffering with gastric symptoms including stomach cramps, diarrhoea and vomiting.

Amandeep Dhillon, a partner and expert travel lawyer at Irwin Mitchell, said:

Expert Opinion
“Although there are some positive reviews of the hotel online, some holidaymakers have reported that stray cats and birds were allowed to roam the restaurants while on one occasion, holidaymakers have reported witnessing the hotel staff clean vomit off the floor with the use of napkins and without using disinfectant.

“Gastric illness such as diarrhoea and sickness can have a long lasting effect on holidaymakers and anyone who has suffered such problems at the Lindos Princess Beach Hotel in Greece should seek both medical and legal advice as soon as possible."
