Our client was cycling along the road when a car pulled out of a garage colliding with our client’s rear wheel causing her to fall from her cycle.  She was wearing fluorescent clothing including a high visibility jacket, waistcoat and helmet.  Her bicycle was displaying lights.
Our client injured her right shoulder, elbow and right hip.  She suffered bruising to her right leg, her left inner leg, and a burn injury to her right elbow.  She was also unable to cycle following the accident and domestic chores were compromised.  She has been left with a faint scar to the right elbow.
The other party admitted liability and the case was settled out of Court with our client receiving £1,496 in compensation.
