A summer worker sustained crush injuries to two fingers whilst working as a machine operator.
The worker received improper training with regard to operation of the machine he was using at the time of his injury and crushed two fingers under a press. There was a partial amputation of the tip of one finger and crush injury to the other although it wasn’t thought likely to affect the worker’s future career.
We obtained an out-of-Court settlement of £11,000 for the client.
