Expert Opinion
It is very worrying to hear reports of this incident and it is vital that steps are taken to understand the circumstances which led to the crash, with the ultimate aim of ensuring those affected can get the answers they will no doubt be seeking.

"Through our work on behalf of passengers injured in such incidents, including those hurt in a head-on smash involving a Stanley Travel bus in Stanley in June, we have seen how such crashes can lead those involved to suffer both physical and psychological trauma.

"It is vital that victims are able to access the support they need following this crash and we hope that, where possible, lessons can be learned to improve safety in the future."
