I am a Personal Injury specialist working as part of the team in London. I have been handling personal injury claims since 1990.
I specialise in catastrophic injury claims, and am currently working on the Tunisia group litigation claim brought on behalf of 83 victims (including 22 fatal accident claims) involved in the Tunisia terrorist attack in June 2015. I qualified as a solicitor in 1997 and am also a CEDR and ADR qualified mediator. I am also a qualified Notary Public.
What Inspired You To Get Into Law?
I have always felt the need to stand up for those in weak and vulnerable positions.
What Is The Most Rewarding Aspect Of Your Role?
Fighting for and on behalf of those people in weak and vulnerable positions and getting a 'win' is inspiring, uplifting and empowering. To know that even when you don’t quite 'win' that you have helped someone and somehow made their life or position better is rewarding.
What Do You Like About Working At Irwin Mitchell?
Irwin Mitchell are a leading brand name and I am proud to be part their team. Working on the Tunisia project has been particularly exciting. It is the first group action claim of its type ever brought. To be part of legal history in the making is thrilling.
What Do You Do Away From The Office?
I enjoy travelling, gym classes and walking in the Surrey Hills (AONB).
