I'm a Chartered Legal Executive specialising in medical negligence cases.
My role involves securing financial compensation for patients that have sustained injuries as a result of medical treatment.
I work on surgical injury cases, stillbirths and fatalities. I have a particular interest in orthopaedic and gynaecological cases.
What inspired you to get into law?
I've been interested in law since secondary school. After studying law at college and university, I knew it was the career for me.
What is the most rewarding aspect of your role?
The most rewarding aspect of my role is getting to know my clients, as well as helping them to move forward and close chapters on their traumatic experiences.
What do you like about working at Irwin Mitchell?
I've worked in the medical negligence department since 2016. I know that everyone is so friendly and always willing to help, advise and support.
What do you do away from the office?
My young twin daughters keep me very busy – anything else I get to do is an added bonus!
