What inspired you to get into law?
Law offers an intellectually stimulating career where you have to be creative in finding solutions for clients, based on the set of facts you’re presented with. Each case has a unique trigger point and there’s a sense of personal achievement when client objectives are reached. I love to engage in meaningful and satisfying work and that’s what law is about!
What is the most rewarding aspect of your role?
I love making a difference to people’s lives, no matter how big or small. The satisfaction and reassurance that people get when they’ve been given legal advice motivates me to strive harder to find a solution for their issues.
From a more academic prospective, the fact that I constantly get to research and analyse the law is personally very rewarding.
What do you like about working at Irwin Mitchell?
I love my colleagues and our team spirit! Someone is always available to help or answer my questions. You’re never on your own. Everyone at IM is incredibly supportive and they genuinely want to help your progress in your career.
I also like our 'Flexible by choice' policy, which allows me to work when I like and where I like.
What do you do away from the office?
I love to cook!
