I am a solicitor working within the Medical Negligence team in Birmingham, representing clients based in the West Midlands and Wales in claims against NHS Trusts, GPs and other healthcare professionals.
I specialise in cases involving injuries and fatalities caused by negligent surgery or treatment including mental health treatment, delays in diagnosis, misdiagnoses and injuries caused to mothers and babies during birth.
I am proactive in my approach to my work and always take care of my clients and their families with a sensitive and compassionate nature. I am a kind and approachable person and ensure that my clients feel at ease in my company.
I pursued a career in law as I wanted to make a difference to people's lives and to be part of a sector that is continuously evolving and improving.
I enjoy meeting kind and caring people and helping them during what can be an extremely difficult period in their lives.
Irwin Mitchell has extremely experienced teams nationwide who are leading Medical Negligence dedicated solicitors. This provides me with specialist knowledge and access to a variety of resources.
When I am not at work, I like to catch up with friends and family. I am an active person and enjoy going to the gym, cycling and playing touch rugby. When in need of some downtime I like going to watch Worcester Warriors play rugby or I turn to a good book or film.
Santa’s little helpers had a great time helping him hand out presents to pupils at Wilson Stuart.

“Mesothelioma is an extremely aggressive and sadly incurable form of cancer that kills over 2,500 people in the UK every year.
“Many people who worked in the construction trades, plumbers, electricians and plasterers are now paying the price for their employers not doing enough to protect them from asbestos decades ago.
“Peggy has been left distraught following Frank’s death and she wants to understand how and where her husband came into contact with the material that caused him to develop mesothelioma. We would urge any of his former colleagues at the Port of Bristol and local councils in the Bristol area to come forward and provide us with the information we need to get Peggy the answers she deserves.”
“Mesothelioma is a very aggressive disease and causes a significant amount of pain and suffering for victims, such as Mark. Understandably, the news has come as a huge shock to Mark and his family, particularly as he is so young, and they are desperate for answers about how he was exposed to asbestos.
“We would like to hear from anyone who worked alongside Mark during his time at Michael Thorne Construction Limited who can provide information about how he came into contact with asbestos.
“We would also like to hear from anyone who has knowledge of safety measures implemented at the firm to prevent workers inhaling the deadly substance. The information could be critical to success in our legal action on behalf of Mark and his family.”
