I am Client Liaison Manager at Irwin Mitchell. My role is to support clients and their families through very challenging times as they try to cope with medical treatment, life changing injuries and an uncertain future. I can advise on benefits, liaise with statutory services, schools and employers, and most importantly ensure that clients receive the best rehabilitation available.
I am a registered Occupational Therapist and draw on this knowledge to provide the best assistance for our clients.
What Inspired You To Get Into Law?
Having worked in the NHS for 29 years, I was ready for a change. I realised that this role perfectly suited my occupational therapy skills and my love of helping people through difficult times.
What Is The Most Rewarding Aspect Of Your Role?
I really enjoy helping clients and their families to look to the future, planning their on-going rehabilitation and support, and watching them progress.
What Do You Like About Working At Irwin Mitchell?
There are very few firms who employ Client Liaison Managers like Irwin Mitchell, so it is nice to think we offer a unique service. The team is equally committed to providing appropriate rehabilitation, so are very supportive of my role, and I have the flexibility which enables me to visit clients wherever they are and respond quickly when problems arise.
What Do You Do Away From The Office?
I enjoy spending time with my family, watching rugby, socialising with friends, live music events and reading.
