Biography
I'm Solicitor in the International Serious Injury department in London. I joined Irwin Mitchell as a Paralegal in 2017 and qualified as a Solicitor in May 2021.
I act for individuals who have suffered life-changing injuries in accidents with an international element. This means dealing with cases where an accident has occurred abroad, or where a foreign national has been involved in an accident in the UK.
I was shortlisted for the Trainee Lawyer of the Year, Cambridgeshire Law Society 2019.
What inspired you to get into law?
I have always enjoyed the problem-solving nature of law, and the fact that it is constantly evolving and developing. Ultimately, though, I am passionate about helping people and a career in law gives me the opportunity to fight for someone at a time when they most need it.
What is the most rewarding aspect of your role?
Securing outcomes for clients that help them to recover and rebuild. It is extraordinarily rewarding to see tangible improvements to a client’s life because of the work you have done for them.
What do you like about working at Irwin Mitchell?
I am very lucky to work alongside a group of talented, dedicated people, who are passionate about working with and for our clients, and for a firm that encourages commitment to social responsibility through volunteering and pro bono work.
What do you do away from the office?
Yoga, city breaks, fiction, and as many restaurants as possible!
